Two new pits were installed this summer so that the trampolines could be lowered to ground level and a training pit was constructed, filled with foam squares, to enhance training and general programs. Construction pictures are shown on our PHOTO GALLERY page.

The Lindsay Gymnastics Centre has been in existence for over 28 years as a viable Community Based not-for-profit volunteer based organization dedicated to providing children's gymnastics programs at both the competitive and recreational levels. During this time period the club has evolved from operating out of the two high schools in Lindsay into a full fledged gymnastics club with its own facility in the early 90's.

In 2001 the club took a major leap and expanded from 6,000 square feet to 10,000 square feet along with a name change from the Victoria Vivant Gymnastics Club to the Lindsay Gymnastics Centre (L.G.C.). In 2007 L.G.C. moved to it's new 12,000 square feet of fun located behind the Boys and Girls Club of Kawartha Lakes. Through the leadership of our staff and our wonderful volunteers, the club is now a 500 + member strong organization and is pleased to serve much of the local area with quality programing.

SPORT CANADA Considers Gymnastics to be one of the best activities for contributing to the overall development of a child! For children of all abilities, Gymnastics provides the foundation for participation and success in all other athletic activities.
